I decided to start my tree, after the birth of our first grand child Jamie-Lyn. She was born in 2006. Since starting I have found that we have long lost relatives in Canada and Liverpool, who have contacted myself through Genesreunited.com.
I used ancestry.co.uk to access all the Census records from 1841 - 1901 and the lancashirebmd.org.uk to find births, marriages and deaths. The information on the Whartons & Wrights came from some of the parish records held at the Church of Our Lady of Compassion, Formby, Lancashire (grateful thanks to Beryl), also my distant relations in Canada & Liverpool.
